I have worked in journalism for almost 12 years, starting my career as an economy reporter and later working as news editor, online editor, head of online and editor-in-chief. In 1999, I was a runner-up for Bonnier prize, an investigative journalism award given in Estonia by a Swedish publishing group. Writing is what makes me happy and what I do best. I've been a freelance journalist since the beginning of 2008, writing articles and features to various outlets, mostly in Estonia. In addition to writing articles, I also capture news photos. Living in London puts me in the centre of a lot of happening, from politics to entertainment. For a good story I can also travel abroad, to see and capture the essence of the story, to talk to people in the midst and to see the story with my own eyes. I am an expert in politics, history, the Holocaust and Middle Eastern affairs, and I also write a lot of travel features. I write in both English and Estonian. If you're interested in a story and/or photos, please do not hesitate to get in touch! |
